As our Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) for Tambang Operations, you will be instrumental in driving our commitment to environmental stewardship, ethical mining, and community empowerment in one of Indonesia’s most critical mining regions. Located in Bangka Belitung, you will have the unique opportunity to lead sustainability initiatives that align with both global best practices and local community needs.

In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies that ensure our mining operations are environmentally responsible, socially inclusive, and economically viable. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into every aspect of our operations, from exploration to closure. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining our reputation as a responsible corporate citizen and in fostering a culture of sustainability across the organization.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and implement a robust sustainability strategy for Tambang Operations, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations.
• Lead the integration of sustainability practices into daily operations, including environmental impact assessments, waste management, and renewable energy initiatives.
• Oversee the development and execution of community engagement programs, focusing on empowerment, education, and economic development.
• Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and local communities, to build and maintain positive relationships.
• Advocate for sustainability within the company, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Ensure that all sustainability initiatives are aligned with the company's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals.
• Represent the company at industry forums and conferences, sharing best practices and insights on sustainable mining.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Minimum 10 years of experience in sustainability management, with a strong background in mining or related industries.
• A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certifications in sustainability management, such as LEED AP, ISO 14001, or other relevant certifications.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing sustainability programs in complex, large-scale operations.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups.
• Familiarity with Indonesian regulations and best practices in the mining industry.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
